Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Lobby Concierge in Wilmington, DE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will greet visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service. You will serve as a welcoming, highly visible presence while helping to deter security-related incidents through clear communication and attention to site protocols. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, answering questions, and directing guests, members, staff, and vendors in a professional manner.
• Follow site-specific access-control procedures by verifying visitor authorization, maintaining visitor logs, and issuing temporary credentials as required.
• Monitor entry areas, communications systems, and available cameras for security-related concerns, and report unusual activity to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner in accordance with site-specific policies and emergency response procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, visitor activity, deliveries, and other security-related events while providing a welcoming presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
