General Purpose

Individuals in this position are responsible for building all special studs

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Read production prints.
• Cut and assemble special studs.
• Drop studs into forms.
• Track number of studs build each day.
• Operate a forklift.

Education

• There are no formal education requirements for this position.

Core Competencies

• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must have basic reading and arithmetic skills.

Working Conditions

• While performing the duties of this job, the individual will be working in the plant. Individuals may be exposed to noise, moving machinery, dust, fumes and changing temperatures.
• Job requires the use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to, eye protection, hearing protection, work boots, hard hats and gloves.

Physical Demands

• Requires lifting of up to 25 lbs.
• Requires use of both feet when operating a forklift.
• Requires the ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift; longer during periods of overtime.
• Requires frequent bending, pushing and pulling.
• Requires the ability to perform simple & firm grasping with both hands.
• Requires frequent twisting, turning, bending or rotating of the waist, neck, head and wrists.
