Food Packer Position

Master Pack, LLC is looking to fill Food Packer positions in Santa Cruz County (845 E. Frontage Road, Rio Rico, AZ 85648) Arizona. This is a temporary, full-time, seasonal position and we are looking to fill fifteen (15) job openings for employment from October 01, 2026 to June 30, 2027.

Duties: Examine fruits and vegetables to ensure quality. Clean fruits and vegetables. Disregard non-compliance products and place in specified area. Package fruits and vegetables into bags. Repackage fruits and vegetables into different specified boxes and containers as instructed by client. Count products and material before and after packaging and repackaging. Examine and inspect containers prior to packaging fruits and vegetables. Clean work area using cleaning solutions and hand tools.

Requirements: Must have ability to perform job duties, including standing for extended periods of time, and work full time hours (40 hours per week).

Terms and Conditions of Employment: $15.80/hr, 40hrs/wk, Mon-Fri, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Schedule varies). Overtime is available as needed. Overtime rate of pay is at least $23.70 per hour. Temporary Employment: Dates of Intended Employment 10/01/2026 - 06/30/2027.

Transportation: From the place from which the worker has come to work, whether in the U.S. or abroad, to the place of employment, if the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will provide advance payment for transportation and subsistence (including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment.

Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the work originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.78 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts.

Three-fourths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.

Tools, equipment and supplies: The employer will provide to workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

Miscellaneous: the employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due; The pay period is every week; The employer will make all payroll deductions required by law and will not make any deductions, which are not required by law; The employer will reimburse an H-2B worker in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (need not include passport expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker).
