About the Role The Medical Director will provide comprehensive primary care services while helping lead clinical operations and support a high-performing healthcare team. Responsibilities Perform annual physicals, wellness visits, and preventive health screenings Diagnose, evaluate, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions Order and interpret laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and other procedures Prescribe medications and educate patients regarding treatment plans, risks, and expected outcomes Provide patient education focused on wellness, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices Coordinate care with specialists and make referrals when appropriate Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient care Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the healthcare team Qualifications Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution Active and unrestricted Nevada medical license (or ability to obtain) Current DEA registration and prescriptive authority Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience preferred Experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, or Primary Care strongly preferred Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Leadership experience or prior Medical Director experience is a plus Required Skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient setting Strong team-building and collaborative leadership abilities Passion for preventive care and population health management Preferred Skills Experience working with employer-sponsored health clinics is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
