The company designs tile sets and accessories that are both visually striking and approachable, appealing to beginners and seasoned players alike. Signature collections, such as the Destination Collection inspired by places like Hawaii, New York City, Texas, and National Parks, highlight creativity and a strong sense of place. The mission is to spread “Smiles & Tiles” through inclusive, engaging experiences at the mahjong table. Role Description The Director of Operations is a full-time, on-site role based in Carrollton, TX, responsible for overseeing day-to-day business operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and alignment with company values. This role manages inventory and supply chain processes, coordinates production schedules, and optimizes workflows from ordering through fulfillment. The Director of Operations leads and supports operational team members, establishes performance metrics, and promotes a collaborative, customer-focused culture. Daily responsibilities include monitoring budgets and operational costs, analyzing performance data, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives across logistics, vendor management, and internal processes. The role also partners with leadership on strategic planning and helps shape scalable systems to support company growth and exceptional customer experiences. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization, inventory oversight, and coordination of production and fulfillment. Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to interpret data, track performance metrics, and make data-informed decisions that improve efficiency and quality. Candidates should possess effective Team Management skills, with experience leading, coaching, and developing diverse operational staff in a collaborative environment. Candidates should possess sound Budgeting skills, including managing operational expenses, forecasting, and supporting financial planning and cost control. Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to maintain high satisfaction levels, respond to customer needs, and support a positive brand experience. Additional beneficial qualifications include experience in consumer products or retail operations, familiarity with supply chain and vendor management, and comfort working in a growing, family-run business.
