Java DeveloperApex Systems has an immediate opening for a mid-level Full Stack Java developer for our client in the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in both front end and back end development.QualificationsEducation/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline with at least (5) years of related experience, or equivalent training and/or work experienceDemonstrated technical expertise in Object Oriented and database technologies/concepts which resulted in deployment of enterprise quality solutionsPast experience with developing enterprise quality solutions in an iterative or Agile environmentBroad knowledge of industry leading software engineering approaches including Test Automation, Build Automation and Configuration Management frameworksEmerging written and verbal technical communication skillsAbility to maintain focus and develop proficiency in new skills rapidlyAbility to work in a fast paced environmentResponsibilitiesThe Developer works under general supervision and will develop, test, debug and document software components commensurate with their experience under the supervision of more senior development staff in support of a software engineering effortAs part of a group, review and analyze process, system and/or data requirements and specificationsReview and contribute to component designs for a project, product and/or programBuild, test, deploy, and document software components of a project, product, and/or program level solutionInterface with other team members and other teams in peer review of requirements, specifications and softwareDocument and communicate development status in a timely mannerParticipate in the collaborative resolution of defectsParticipate in internal process improvement initiativesProvide feedback on processes by offering suggestionsAssist with adherence to technology policies and comply with all security controlsEnsure all work products meets/exceeds company standardsRequirementsExperienced with Full stack developmentExperienced developing using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Angular, NodeJS, JPA, Hibernate, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQueryExperienced developing in AWS cloud environment (e.g., EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS Postgres, RDS MSSQL)Experienced with repository and project tracking systems (e.g, Git, Bitbucket, Jira)Experienced creating unit tests using JUnitStrong understanding of pipeline development and orchestrationExperienced with CD/CI process
