Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Operations in Dover, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain access control, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $18.28 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Wed 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Thur 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of food and beverage production, warehouse, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility hazards.
Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required logs and documentation in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Support the protection of food products, equipment, and operations by observing receiving, shipping, and restricted areas for policy compliance and reporting concerns to Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
