Bullitt Lick Middle is looking for a candidate that is strong in communicating with parents, visitors and those in the community that support BLMS!
Seeking a positive, organized, enthusiastic person that can multi-task.
The candidate must be able to remain positive when under pressure, honor confidentiality, and answer the phone with a "smile". Experience with technology is essential.
Position Details
Hours: 1 hour per day
Contract Length: 186 days per year
- 170 student instructional days
- 7 planning days
- 9 extended days
Contract Adjustments: Contracted days will be prorated based on the start date
Employment Status: (This position is part time and not eligible for benefits unless combined with another position making it full time)
Employment Type: 11-month employee on the classified pay schedule
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and provide a copy to HR upon recommendation to hire.
- Documentation: Candidates must provide proof of educational requirements to HR upon recommendation for hire.
Compensation & Experience Credit
2026-2027 Pay Scale
- Starting Pay (Step 0): $16.46/hour
- Experienced Pay (Step 10): $20.26/hour

New hires may bring up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience.
- The hired applicant is responsible for submitting the BCPS Verification of Experience Form to prior employers for completion and return to HR.
Payroll Note: While this is an hourly position, the salary is distributed via a year-long contract over 10 months. You will receive 4 paychecks at the end of June.
Salary Formula: Hours per day Hourly rate = Daily rate Daily rate Contracted days = Annual salary. Annual salary Remaining pay periods = Gross biweekly pay
