Job Description
A cook is responsible for the food served to guests. Oversee the setup and take down of the buffet, cooking for guests as well as maintain the dining space, ensure food is available, and provide any other guest services. They help with seating, delivering food and drinks to guests, manage the buffet, and clean tables in between guests. Must be willing to work catering events as needed.
Duties:
- Keep work area clean
- Throw out all outdated product
- Sweep floor of dining area at closing
Sweep and mop serving area at closing
VP Management is seeking a skilled General Cook to join our team in Beckley, WV. This role offers a unique opportunity to be a part of a dynamic and innovative culinary team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook delicious and visually appealing meals
- Ensure all food safety standards are met
- Collaborate with the team to create menus
- Work catering events even when out of normal range of hours
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
