Overview Painted Lady is a San Francisco-based, vintage-inspired apparel brand focused on creating small-batch pieces in Los Angeles from rescued deadstock fabrics. Responsibilities This is an unpaid, remote Summer Social Media Marketing Internship role. The intern will assist with day-to-day social media activities, including planning and scheduling posts across platforms, creating engaging visual and written content, and supporting campaign execution. Responsibilities include monitoring social channels, responding to comments or messages in a brand-aligned tone, and helping gather and organize content assets such as photos, videos, and stories. The intern will also support basic digital marketing tasks, such as tracking performance metrics, conducting competitor and trend research, and contributing ideas to increase audience engagement and brand awareness. Qualifications Strong interest and foundational skills in Social Media Marketing and Marketing, with an understanding of brand storytelling and audience engagement. Ability to create Social Media Content, including visuals and copy, with attention to aesthetics, tone, and consistency. Basic knowledge of Digital Marketing concepts, including analytics, content calendars, and campaign planning. Clear and professional Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment. Familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest) and basic design or editing tools is beneficial. Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time and tasks independently. Interest in fashion, sustainability, and vintage-inspired style is a plus.
