The role acts as a business partner across the organization, providing timely and actionable financial analysis to enable informed decision making and to support execution against DTCC’s strategic objectives.This role partners with business and functional stakeholders to provide transparency into financial performance and evaluate strategic initiatives with speed and accuracy. The Associate will support the analytical backbone of the team by building structured financial models, enabling bottoms-up forecasting, and contributing to insights that support key business decisions across Digital Assets, partnerships, and corporate strategy.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe role will support DTCC senior leaders and Finance partners on strategic business opportunities, partnerships, and investments. Reporting into the FP&A team, the Associate will work closely with stakeholders across Strategy, Product, and Finance to support structured financial analysis and decision making. In this role, you will contribute to a standardized approach to quantitative financial analysis while supporting evaluation of new initiatives and business opportunities. Additionally, as part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team, you will also support the traditional budgeting and forecasting processes, production of management reporting, and the development of materials used in strategic discussions.Build and manage financial models across both revenue and expense drivers, supporting full P&L analysis and ensuring alignment between investment decisions, cost structure, and business outcomesBuild and maintain bottom-up financial models to support Digital Assets initiatives, partnerships, and product commercializationSupport evaluation of partnerships, investments, and strategic initiatives, including development of business cases and analysis of deal economicsTranslate complex business models (e.g., tokenization, platform/ecosystem economics, pricing structures) into clear financial drivers and assumptionsSupport development of revenue forecasting and pricing frameworks, including fee structures and client economicsPerform scenario-based analysis (base, upside, downside) across revenue, cost, and operating income to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision makingApply structured analytical approaches to assess investment sizing, valuation, and key risks in partnership and M&A discussionsApply AI tools to accelerate financial modeling, scenario analysis, and assumption testing, improving speed and depth of analysisPartner with Strategy, Product, Finance, and PMO stakeholders to gather inputs, align assumptions, and support execution of financial initiativesPrepare clear and concise materials to communicate financial insights to senior stakeholders, including presentations supporting strategic and Board-level discussionsSupport the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, including management reporting, variance analysis, monthly close support, and preparation of recurring materials for senior leadershipContribute to development of consistent and repeatable analytical frameworks to improve the quality and scalability of financial decision making**NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. **Qualifications:To be successful in this role, the candidate requires the ability to operate across both structured and less defined problems, with strong analytical capability and attention to detail. The role requires the ability to support senior stakeholders through clear analysis and structured thinking.3–5 years of related experienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fieldTalents Needed for Success:Strong financial modeling skills and experience with scenario and sensitivity analysisUnderstanding of core financial concepts, including financial statements, NPV, IRR, and investment evaluationAbility to operate across both quantitative modeling and traditional FP&A responsibilities, including forecasting, variance analysis, and expense managementStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to independently investigate drivers, challenge assumptions, and exercise sound judgment in evaluating business opportunitiesDemonstrated intellectual curiosity and an inquisitive mindset, with the ability to ask the right questions and drive deeper analysisAbility to structure complex problems into clear and logical analysesStrong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearlyAbility to work independently and manage multiple workstreamsExperience with Excel and financial modeling tools required; experience with FP&A systems (including Oracle) is a plusFamiliarity with digital assets, tokenization, or financial market infrastructure, including platform- or ecosystem-based business models, is a plusFamiliarity with AI-enabled tools (e.g., generative AI, data analysis workflows) and the ability to apply them to financial modeling, analysis, and decision supportExposure to capital markets or financial services is a plusBuild effective working relationships across teams and contribute to alignment across stakeholdersThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
