Certified Surgical Technologist

Overview The CVOR Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) provides advanced support during cardiovascular surgeries. CSFAs perform suturing, tissue retraction, and hemostasis in complex open-heart and vascular cases. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cardiovascular procedures and sterile techniques, with experience in CVOR settings. Key Responsibilities Assist surgeons with suturing and hemostasis in CVOR procedures. Prepare CVOR with sterile instruments and supplies. Maintain sterile fields and infection control. Monitor patient vital signs during surgery. Document procedures in EHR systems like Epic. Collaborate with surgical teams. This role is essential for successful cardiovascular surgical interventions.
