Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department and Trauma unit serving approximately 250–300 patients per day
• Manage a patient assignment at a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio across acute and subacute care areas
• Perform and maintain competency in sterile field procedures including Foley catheter insertion and port-a-cath insertion
• Monitor patients using telemetry equipment and interpret cardiac rhythm strips
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, mid-level providers, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy staff available 24/7
• Float as needed between affiliated emergency department locations, including free-standing ERs, with personal reliable transportation required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience, with at least 6 months in a Level 1 Trauma setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (ENPC does not substitute for PALS)
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips (Phillips monitors)
• Must meet facility grooming and appearance standards including natural hair color, no facial piercings, and clean-shaven face for applicable fit testing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC or ATCN certification preferred
• Experience with high-acuity patient populations including trauma, cardiac, spinal cord, and psychiatric hold patients
• Familiarity with sterile field technique and confidence in performing related clinical skills
