Unit Notes - Hiring Process: Candidate Interview- Interview with MedSol Clinical Team- No Unit Manager involvement - Radius: 60 MILES, DL must be submitted - Week of orientation: Please ensure clinicians are in state for week of orientation even if first day modules are remote

Hospital SAH Unit 6th Floor # Beds 37 Nurse:Patient Ratios 1:4/5 Days and 1:5/6 on Nights Required Certifications (i.e., BLS, ACLS?) BLS, Common diagnosis / Types of patients Trauma and Oncology and General Med Surg Pts Experience or 'Must have' skills Acute Care Nursing Are RN's required to titrate drips No Common titratable &/or set rate drips analgesics for pain, anticoagulants for blood clots, and antihypertensives for blood pressure control Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RN's required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors? Phillips Telemetry. RN are required to be competent in reading strips. Centrally monitored off the unit. Charge Nurse/House Supervisor? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? No Are there Nurse Aides on this unit/Ratios 1:12 RT/Equipment (i.e., Cpap, Bipap, High Flow, vents, etc.) Moderate Oxygen needs Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) Self sceduling and Block Weekend Requirements Yes - Full and part-time employees are expected to self-schedule a minimum of six weekend shifts per six-week schedule, aligning with department needs, unit staffing plans, and ensuring equitable distribution among all staff Holiday Requirements Yes Is there Call or a Standby requirement? Determined by NM Floating Requirements? Yes - Determined by NM and depart needs; If an extreme need could float within Zone 3 Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs Provided? Navy Blue Unit/Department Specific Orientation Date & location assigned during week of orientation
