Registered Nurse - Cardiac Care

This is a 13-week contract position.

Monday to Friday, either 07:00 - 15:30 or 07:30 - 16:00 with three call shifts in a two-week period.

The Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Care will provide comprehensive nursing care in a structured healthcare environment. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans.

Administer medications, blood products, and perform specialized procedures.

Monitor vital signs and manage patient responses to treatment.

Provide patient education and support to patients and families.

Assist with diagnostic procedures and emergencies as needed.

Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record (Epic).

Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with charge experience.

Experience in a Trauma Level II facility is required.

ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.

Valid California RN license is required.

Experience with Epic charting system is necessary.
