About the Role A law firm is seeking a Trademark Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of trademark experience to join its trademark and advertising practice. The position offers the opportunity to advise well‑known brand owners on trademark protection, advertising matters, and related disputes while working alongside experienced intellectual property attorneys. The successful candidate will handle a broad range of trademark matters, including clearance, prosecution, enforcement, advertising review, and dispute resolution. Attorneys will collaborate with colleagues across the practice while providing practical legal guidance to clients on protecting and managing valuable intellectual property assets. This role is available in Dallas, Texas, and the firm is also open to candidates located in Charlotte, Orange County, or San Francisco. This opportunity is offered through an established intellectual property practice that advises clients on trademark, technology, corporate, and litigation matters. Attorneys work on sophisticated trademark and advertising matters while collaborating with experienced practitioners in a supportive professional environment. Responsibilities Represent clients in trademark litigation and related intellectual property matters. Advise large brand owners on trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement strategies. Review advertising claims and product labeling for legal compliance. Handle advertising‑related disputes and related intellectual property issues. Conduct legal research and prepare correspondence, memoranda, and other legal documents. Collaborate with experienced trademark and advertising attorneys on client matters. Support clients in protecting and enforcing domestic trademark rights. Maintain effective communication with clients throughout ongoing legal matters. Qualifications 4-7 years of trademark experience. Strong academic credentials. Excellent legal writing and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Preferred: Experience practicing in a large law firm environment. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active admission to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction. Skills Trademark litigation and enforcement. Trademark clearance and prosecution. Advertising law and label compliance.
