Schedule Part‑time position: every other weekend. During M‑F, mostly working from 2:00‑8:00, with weekend hours typically 9:30‑5:30 pm. Weekly Pay Competitive hourly rate starting at USD $16.00 per hour. What You’ll Do As an Activities Assistant, you play a crucial role in planning and implementing recreational and therapeutic activities that foster a positive and lively atmosphere for residents. Key Responsibilities Assist in planning, organizing, and executing a diverse range of activities for residents. Engage residents in arts and crafts, games, music, and other recreational programs. Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop and implement a monthly activities calendar. Provide one‑on‑one support for residents who may need additional assistance. Foster a sense of community and social interaction among residents. Document and maintain records of residents' participation in activities. What You’ll Bring Previous experience in a long‑term care or senior living setting preferred; training will be provided. Compassionate and empathetic nature. Interest in the therapeutic needs of the aged and the chronically ill, with the ability to work with both. Ability to read, write, and comprehend English. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
