Qualifications Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license (if required for program needs 3+ year of clean driving record Preferred Qualifications: Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or substance use treatment Must currently possess a valid drivers license for at least 3 years. Current status must be VALID, not SUSPENDED. Not more than 2 moving violations or reportable accidents within the past three years. NO DUI or accidents with fatalities within the past 5 years. Availability: This position requires employees to have flexibility in their availability as scheduling/staffing needs may periodically change (based upon staffing needs). Gaudenzia is program that operates on a 24/7 basis. Substitutions: No substitutions for education and training. Successful completion of residential treatment program may be substituted for residential services experience (one month treatment = one month service). Overview: The Recovery Support Professional Lead provides direct care and leadership within a behavioral health residential program. This role supports individuals with mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorders by promoting recovery, independence, and daily living skills. The Lead serves as a role model and mentor to Residential Support Professionals, ensuring high-quality care, adherence to program standards, and a safe, therapeutic environment. This position may require the transportation of clients. Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities Leadership & Team Support Serve as shift lead and primary point of contact during assigned hours Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Residential Support Professionals Assist with staff training, onboarding, and ongoing development Monitor staff performance and report concerns to supervisor Ensure proper staffing coverage and assist with scheduling as needed Direct Client Care Provide direct support to residents in activities of daily living (ADLs) Support implementation of individualized treatment and recovery plans Facilitate group activities, life skills training, and recreational programming Promote a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment Utilize de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention when needed Program Operations Ensure compliance with agency policies, licensing, and regulatory standards Maintain accurate and timely documentation (progress notes, incident reports, logs) Conduct shift handoffs and communicate important updates to team members Monitor the physical environment for safety and cleanliness Assist in medication observation per program guidelines (if applicable) Communicate effectively with clinical staff, case managers, and leadership Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning Serve as a liaison between staff and management during assigned shifts What We Offer: Competitive Pay - Excellent Benefits - On The Job Training - Upward mobility - Educational assistance to help you grow with us in this life saving field!
