Psychiatry Adult physician employment in New York :

A health services network in New York City is looking to boost its staff at its Brooklyn-based outpatient facility with the addition of a new Psychiatrist to their team. In this role, the Psychiatrist will provide psychiatric leadership and patient care across two clinic locations, supporting comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic interventions.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Full-time
• Hours: 37.5 clinical hours per week
• Setting: Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnose a range of mental health conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapeutic interventions.
• Provide ongoing psychiatric care, medication monitoring, and follow-up treatment planning.
• Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, and multidisciplinary team members to support integrated care.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and participate in case conferences, treatment meetings, and quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with a focus in Psychiatry
• Active New York State medical license
• Current BLS certification
• DEA license, active or eligible

Desired Skills:

• Board certification in Psychiatry or board eligibility for recent graduates
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
