Job Responsibilities

• Create Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' requirements and formulate tailored therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methodologies to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, SLPs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure well-rounded, holistic care
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and families on therapy methods to facilitate ongoing progress outside of therapy
• Monitor and Document Outcomes: Keep track of patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure successful rehabilitation

Educational Background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Ongoing education or additional certifications encouraged and supported

Licenses/Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
