Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ growth by providing essential occupational therapy services in a dynamic educational setting. Two contract opportunities are available for skilled Occupational Therapists—one full-time and one at 0.8 FTE—to work on-site across two school assignments, serving ages preschool through high school. Begin with required participation in the Summer Symposium New Hire Orientation from July 27-31, and transition into the school year starting August 3rd, 2026. These positions offer the chance to help implement an innovative allocation model designed to ensure equitable, manageable caseloads, especially at sites with specialized programs and early childhood populations.

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Occupational Therapist license
• Colorado Department of Education (CO DOE) license
• Current DORA certification
• Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to work with diverse age groups and special populations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to a caseload of approximately 40-60 students
• Support students from preschool through high school in both direct and consultative roles
• Adapt therapy approaches to meet the needs of sites with specialized programs and preschool populations
• Participate in interdisciplinary teams and individualized education plan (IEP) meetings
• Document evaluations, progress, and communications as required
• Engage in the summer orientation to ensure a strong start to the school year
