A substantial portion of the role, particularly during quarter-end and year-end periods, will focus on the income tax provision, with the balance of responsibilities covering estimated tax payments, income tax compliance, fixed assets, book-to-tax differences, and other federal and state income tax matters. This position will also support tax-related activities for the Electrolux Midea joint ventures as well as collaborate with accounting, finance, legal, and other business partners. This position is based at the Electrolux North America headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA and offers a flexible hybrid work environment.What you'll do:As our Senior Tax Analyst, you will execute key day-to-day income tax accounting and compliance activities for Electrolux North America, including:Prepare the quarterly and annual income tax provision, including current and deferred tax calculations, tax account reconciliations, effective tax rate analysis, and supporting workpapers and tax packagesPrepare estimated tax payment and extension calculations for U.S. federal, Canada and Puerto Rico, and coordinate timely paymentsAnalyze and prepare book-to-tax differences for corporations and partnershipsPrepare, coordinate or manage fixed assets related work for taxPrepare federal and state income tax compliance workpapers, gather and validate source data for external preparersExecute tax-related activities for the Electrolux Midea joint ventures, collaborating with joint venture finance teams and external advisorsCoordinate with accounting, finance, treasury, legal, and other business partners to obtain, analyze, and reconcile data used in tax calculations and reportingPrepare supporting schedules, workpapers, and explanations for external auditors, tax authorities, and internal stakeholdersIdentify and implement process improvements, including opportunities to standardize, streamline, and automate tax accounting and compliance proceduresPerform other tax-related duties and support special projects as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related disciplineMinimum 2-3 years of corporate income tax or relevant public accounting experienceStrong analytical, organizational, and data reconciliation skills, with attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teamsQualifications:Income tax accounting experience preferredCertified Public Accountant or CPA candidate preferredExperience with partnership or joint venture taxation is a plusONESOURCE Tax Provision, ONESOURCE Income Tax, SAP, and advanced Microsoft Excel experience are a plusWhere you'll be:This position will be based at our North America headquarters in Charlotte, NC.Benefits highlights:Hybrid work modelGenerous relocation packageMedical, dental, vision, and life insuranceCompetitive holiday and vacation time off programRetirement Savings Plan (401(k)) with company contributionEmployee Assistance Program and tuition reimbursementDiscounted Electrolux productsPlease be advised that we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position at this time.Electrolux Home Products, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
