In this unarmed role, you will support access awareness and site response while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, a people-first culture, teamwork, and integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime - Wed 04:00 PM - 11:45 PM; Thu 04:00 PM - 11:45 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with badge and entry procedures, and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related concerns and/or operational issues. Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and completing assigned reports, logs, and/or other required documentation. Minimum Requirements Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
