The NIH Clinical Center is seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse to join its Pediatric Oncology & Critical Care/Clinical Research team. What You’ll Do Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to pediatric patients with complex and acute conditions Administer investigational medications, chemotherapy, blood products, and other therapies according to research protocols Closely monitor patients for changes in condition, adverse reactions, and pediatric emergencies Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, medications, adverse events, and clinical trial data Provide family-centered education, emotional support, and discharge guidance Collaborate with physicians, researchers, NPs, and multidisciplinary teams Ensure safe, compassionate, and protocol-driven patient care Schedule & Contract 13-week contract with high potential for extension Full-time 3x12-hour night shifts Weekend and holiday rotations as needed Bethesda, Maryland Required: Active, unrestricted RN license Current BLS certification 2–3 years of recent, direct pediatric acute‑care hospital experience Experience in settings such as pediatric inpatient, PICU, or pediatric step‑down Preferred: BSN Clinical research experience Clinical trial experience Who Is This Role For?
