Pediatric Dermatologist

Brown University Health is seeking a full-time Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatric Dermatologist to join its growing academic faculty in Providence, Rhode Island. Practice Info * Collaborative, academically focused environment * Care for pediatric patients across outpatient and inpatient settings * Outpatient pediatric dermatology care in Brown Dermatology clinics * Inpatient and emergency department consultations at Hasbro Children's Hospital * Consult for the NICU and newborn nurseries at Women & Infants Hospital * Multidisciplinary clinics, including the Vascular Anomalies Clinic and Dermatology-Genetics conferences Responsibilities * Provide outpatient pediatric dermatology care in Brown Dermatology clinics * Perform inpatient and emergency department consultations at Hasbro Children's Hospital * Consult for the NICU and newborn nurseries at Women & Infants Hospital * Collaborate with pediatric specialists in multidisciplinary clinics, including the Vascular Anomalies Clinic and Dermatology-Genetics conferences * Supervise and educate Brown Dermatology residents, pediatric residents, neonatology fellows, medical students, and other trainees * Participate in academic conferences, didactic teaching, and scholarly activities * Participate in and lead clinical research and clinical trials Compensation * Competitive compensation package Benefits * 4 weeks of paid time off * 1 week of CME leave plus CME allowance * Malpractice insurance with tail coverage * 401(k) retirement plan with 6% employer match * Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligible employer * Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Requirements * MD or DO from an accredited medical school * BC or BE in Dermatology * Fellowship training in Pediatric Dermatology (completed or in progress) * Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted Rhode Island medical license * Eligible for DEA registration * Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine, resident education, and patient-centered care * Interest in clinical research and multidisciplinary collaboration is preferred
