As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You may assist with sensitive hospital operations, including morgue access and response to individuals requiring restraint. Pay Rate: $16.48 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, corridors, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directing individuals to appropriate areas while reporting unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccinations.
• Must be able to work in/around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
