Entry Level Bank Teller (Oceanside) Part Time Oceanside, CA, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 1447 Salary Range: $19.00 To $21.25 Hourly Position Summary: Member Service Representative I is responsible for building meaningful relationships with members while delivering efficient, accurate and exceptional service. As an employee of the credit union, Member Service Representative I is expected to promote Credit Union products and services to existing and potential members and work with a dedicated team of professionals to support the organization’s mission and values. Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills) High school diploma or equivalent. 6 months of customer service experience. Cash handling experience preferred. Strong listening, communication, time management, and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to achieve assigned goals and performance expectations. Successful completion of New Hire Training course and exam. Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment. Professional appearance and demeanor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Deliver exceptional member experience by consistently maintaining a positive and professional attitude while caring for members and resolving routine member questions. Accurately process routine member account transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, wires, etc. Maintain a balanced cash drawer; follow branch operations, policy and procedures and risk management requirements. Use strong communication skills to understand and clarify members’ financial needs, provide valuable options to assist members. Identify and offer products and services to members and/or refer the member to an appropriate representative or partner to meet their financial needs. Work with branch team members to achieve assigned personal and branch performance goals. Adhere to credit union regulatory and compliance requirements including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Currency Transaction Report (CTR), Member Information Security Procedures (MISP). Other Duties & Responsibilities May be required to work weekends and/or extended hours, include attending community/business development events. Perform other duties as assigned.
