Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

$2284.80/week - Job Summary: Seeking a skilled RN for medical-surgical unit coverage, offering day shifts with 12-hour rotations. The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in managing drips and cardiac infusions within a 1:6/1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio. Responsibilities: Provide patient care on a busy ortho unit with occasional MS/tele overflow. Administer and monitor cardiac drips including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone. Maintain compliance with shift protocols, ensuring safety and quality standards. Document patient progress accurately in accordance with facility policies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Adhere to infection control and safety procedures at all times. Qualifications: Valid Alabama RN license required at the time of submission. Minimum of 1-year experience in a large healthcare setting, preferably in medical-surgical units. Proficient in managing drips such as Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone. Previous travel or large facility experience strongly preferred. Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 am - 7:00 pm).
