Ink Maker – 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Pay: $18.00–$19.00 per hour, DOE (Depending on Experience)

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Ink Maker to join our production team on first shift. This position is responsible for blending, packaging, and preparing fluid products while maintaining quality standards and ensuring orders are completed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Package fluids according to manufacturing orders, including proper labeling and containerizing.
• Prepare products for final packaging and shipment.
• Blend ink and other fluids according to batch tickets and production specifications.
• Complete required production paperwork, checklists, and documentation accurately.
• Clean and maintain manufacturing equipment used during production.
• Assemble cartridges, caps, and other components as needed.
• Follow written work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Assist with additional production tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret written instructions and production documents.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent use of fine motor skills and hand coordination for assembling small components and operating equipment.
• Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching as needed.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Close vision and the ability to adjust focus for detailed production work.
• Regular communication and hearing abilities are required.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a manufacturing environment where employees may be exposed to moderate noise, odors, dust, and other typical production conditions. Safety procedures and quality standards must be followed at all times.
