Job Description

At our facility, machine operators aren’t just workers—they’re problem solvers and essential contributors. If you bring strong math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make precise calculations on the job, we’re excited to meet our next machine operator.

APEX Placement and Consulting has partnered with an exciting company in New Castle, DE looking to add a Machine Operator to their already amazing team. Their primary responsibility will be to make sure to keep the machine operating. Keep reading for more details!

What’s in it for you:

Monday – Friday 6am-2:30pm
Competitive hourly rate at $19-$20/hr. depending on experience
Contract-to-hire opportunity – you’ll be hired based on attendance, performance and client needs!

What your day will look like:

Ensure the machine remains running at all times
Identify and fix any and all jams promptly
Verify that all materials are installed accurately and correctly
Monitor operation continuously to prevent issues
Maintain smooth workflow and consistent production output

What we are looking for:

Strong math skills with the ability to work accurately with numbers
High attention to detail to ensure quality and precision in tasks
Knowledge of basic tools and the ability to use them safely and effectively
Motivated self-learner with the ability and drive to learn new skills and concepts
