Monitor Technician

Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas is seeking an Orderly EVS Tech for our Operating Room! The OR EVS Technician collaborates with the Surgical Teams in order to prepare the surgical case. Works with the surgical team, adheres to principles of asepsis and environmental controls in the OR setting, collaborates and works bi-directionally with the OR, SPD and Materials Management staff and leadership. Is sensitive to patent privacy and confidentiality. Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas is a joint venture surgical hospital between Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH), United Surgical Partners International (USPI), and local physicians. Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas provides a wide range of medical and surgical services to the greater North Texas area across 7 ORs, 12 private inpatient rooms, and a 3 bed ED. The hospital specializes in both inpatient and outpatient procedures in Orthopedics, Joint Replacement, Spine, Urology, General Surgery, ENT, and other surgical specialties. Required Skills Maintains an aseptic presence, understands the semi-restricted and restricted core and adheres to proper attire, masks, hair covering, etc. while in these spaces Assists with moving major equipment, room turnovers in an organized and timely manner. Maintains the Surgical Suite in an orderly, clean, and dust free through constant rounding and cleaning. Uses safe practices when mixing cleaning solutions. Use proper and approved cleaning solutions on equipment. Reports problems to OR leadership immediately upon finding issue. Required Experience Education High School Diploma, or equivalent Licensure/Certification BLS Required Specific Job Experience Minimum 6-12 months in a surgical room setting Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Good communication and people skills Excellent customer service skills Excellent Ability to utilize Electronic Health Care Record for patient documentation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
