CNC Machinist - 3rd Shift

CNC MachinistThis role involves operating and setting up CNC machines, editing G&M code, and performing quality inspections on industrial bearings. The position requires experience with mills, lathes, calipers, micrometers, and blueprint reading. You will be working in a high mix, low volume machining environment.ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC machines efficiently and safely.Perform setups and edits on G&M code.Conduct quality inspections on industrial bearings.Utilize calipers and micrometers for precise measurements.Read and interpret blueprints accurately.Work with mills and lathes effectively.Essential Skills4+ years of CNC machining experience.Proficiency in CNC setup and programming.Strong ability in blueprint reading.Experience with calipers and micrometers.Knowledge of lathe and mill operations.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with multi-axis machining is a significant advantage.Familiarity with CNC brands such as Mitisui Seki, Toshiba, Mazak, Mori-seki, and Intergex.Why Work Here?Enjoy 10 paid holidays, access to a cafeteria, and monthly events. The available shifts are 1st shift from 7 am to 3:30 pm, and 3rd shift from 11 pm to 7 am with a 10% premium. Initially, you will start with 8-hour shifts, with the flexibility to choose hours once performance is satisfactory.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grafton, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $34.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
