Job Description
We're on the lookout for a supercharged Part-Time Banquet Dishwasher to join our unstoppable kitchen crew! This role is key to keeping our banquet kitchen spotless and running like a well-oiled machine, ensuring top-notch dining experiences every time. If you're bursting with energy, reliability, and thrive under pressure – especially during our bustling nights and weekends – then you're the one we want!
Day To Day...
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
- Maintain the kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Assist in the preparation of banquet setups by ensuring that all required dishes and utensils are washed, dried, and available when needed
- Ensure the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe, and sanitary facility
- Dispose of waste in an appropriate manner
- Assist with the loading and unloading of supplies
- Comply with health and safety regulations and policies at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations during banquets and events
- Perform additional cleaning tasks as assigned by the kitchen manager or head chef
Qualifications...
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- A team player with good communication skills
