To qualify, you need a current Georgia RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and at least 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications are required. Experience with EMR systems and strong clinical assessment skills are necessary. Recommended skills include adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to support patients through complex neurological and cardiac recovery.
