Software Engineer Senior - Data and Automation (Restful API, Kafka, MongoDB, Jira)

As a Software Engineer Senior within PNC's Data and Automation organization, you will be based in Strongsville, OH; Pittsburgh, PA; Dallas, TX; or Birmingham, AL. Responsibilities include: a. Design new as well as update Rest API and Kafka event Services b. Define endpoints, data formats, and authentication methods, while also considering factors like security, performance, and best practices c. Understand business requirements and translate them to API Design d. Build integration solution with IBM MDM AE product, Mongo DB and Kafka e. Implement API design best practices and use modern API design patterns f. Support technical planning, estimation, development, testing and UAT support g. Participate in production incident analysis and issue resolution h. Job Description Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms. Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Writes code, tests and deploys software. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software. Maintains and debugs software. Education Bachelors Certifications No Required Certification(s) Licenses No Required License(s) Pay Transparency Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $172,250.00 Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
