Production Supervisor

We're looking for a hands-on, motivated Production Supervisor to lead our U.S. production team and play a key role in delivering high-quality medical device products.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the production floor, solving problems in real time, and managing the production line in real time and keeping ahead of the paperwork. You'll work closely with Production Operators and Manufacturing Engineers to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing operations while driving continuous improvement across the production line.This role reports directly to the Hiring Manager based in Sydney, Australia, requiring regular communication across time zones and close collaboration with global engineering, quality, and operations teams.What You'll doRunning the production line day-to-day planning activities, coordinating operators, and keeping everything on track for quality, budget, and scheduleGetting your hands dirty jumping in on assembly and manufacturing tasks alongside your team when it counts, because leading from the front is how we do things hereOwning the paperwork that matters work instructions, engineering drawings, ECRs, DMRs, DHRs, and other manufacturing documentation that keeps us compliant and audit readyRunning meetings that drive results coordinating with cross-functional teams, reporting on progress, and flagging issues before they become problemsChampioning quality ensuring everything we produce meets IDE's QMS, GMP, and client requirements, and building a culture where quality is everyone's jobDriving continuous improvement spotting inefficiencies and leading the charge on Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives to make the line better every weekManaging supplier relationships keeping the supply chain reliable and building partnerships that support the whole business unitWhat You BringAn Associate degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent hands-on experience)Experience coordinating people and resources in a manufacturing environmentComfort reading engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical documentationPractical experience with assembly tools, hand tools, and production/test equipmentA working knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and documentation practicesBonus points for exposure to medical device regulations, GMP, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, or ISO 2859 but we're happy to help you build this knowledge on the jobSolid Excel skills for tracking data and production metricsSharp problem-solving instincts and a genuine attention to detailIf this sounds like you, we'd genuinely love to hear from you.Ready to join the team?If you are ready to be challenged but fulfilled, and have the right skills, experience and, most importantly, the right attitude, then a truly unique role in a life-changing product development company awaits.
