Assistant Professor of Journalism Jefferson City, MO, US Salary Range: $50,362.00 To $50,362.00 Annually Essential Job Functions Excellent organizational and management skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders as well as excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Training in journalism, editing, broadcast and podcast professions. Demonstrated commitment to promoting inclusive and accessible learning environments for diverse populations. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personal Characteristics Professional experience in broadcast journalism, both radio and television, and podcasting preferred. Certifications, Licenses, Registrations A record of scholarship and publication or evidence of a productive research agenda. Minimum of five years' experience in professional podcasting preferred. M.A. in Journalism or Mass Communications required. Evidence of experience working with underprepared and diverse student population. Physical Demands Light sedentary office work.
