Part Time Activity Aide

Activity Aide (Part-Time) Bring Joy. Build Connection. Make a Difference. Join our Activities Team at Fairmount Homes and help bring joy, purpose, and meaningful connection to the lives of older adults. As an Activity Aide, you’ll play a special role in creating engaging experiences that brighten each day for our residents. Whether it’s music, games, conversation, or creative activities, your presence will help foster a sense of community, belonging, and delight. Activity Aide Schedule & Pay Hours: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM Schedule: Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday) Additional PRN (as needed) opportunities available Pay: $18.60 – $20.10/hour Weekend Differential: $1.25/hour What You’ll Do Assist with and lead group and one-on-one activities for residents Encourage participation in music, games, crafts, and social events Build relationships and provide companionship to residents Support a positive, engaging, and inclusive environment Help create meaningful moments that enhance quality of life What We’re Looking For in an Activity Aide A genuine love for working with older adults A positive, patient, and encouraging attitude Ability to connect with individuals of varying physical and cognitive abilities Strong interpersonal skills—kind, respectful, and team-oriented Experience with older adults preferred High school diploma or GED required Valid PA Driver’s License preferred A commitment to supporting Fairmount’s mission and core values Why Fairmount Homes?
