Responsibilities
As a Systems Engineer here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to impact the development of safety-critical systems and cutting-edge Avionics solutions for the Honeywell Anthem Flight Deck System. As a flagship product, the Honeywell Anthem Flight Deck System is not just another avionics product; it is a visionary endeavor that employs cutting-edge technologies to redefine how pilots interact with flight information and aircraft systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and management of system safety requirements , ensuring proper allocation, traceability, validation, and verification
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems, software, hardware, safety, and certification engineering
• Support system design and architecture activities to ensure safety considerations are incorporated early and throughout development
• Contribute to systems integration efforts , identifying and addressing safety impacts across interfaces and subsystems
• Perform or support system safety analyses , including:
  • Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA)
  • Fault Tree Analysis (FTA)
  • Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Common Mode Analysis (CMA)
• Support compliance with applicable aerospace safety standards and regulatory guidance
• Assist with technical documentation, reviews, and certification artifacts in accordance with Honeywell processes

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 2+ years of Systems Engineering / Safety Engineering experience

WE VALUE

• Knowledge of systems development lifecycle
• Knowledge in any of the following is of value:
  • CAFTA experience
  • Part 25 aircraft exposure
  • Flight control safety experience
  • System safety analyses (e.g. FHA, FTA, FMEA, CMA, etc)
