Must be able to maintain production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product for shipping; moving and organizing inventory as needed; operating forklift to move items. Other duties may be assigned. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory. Able to lift and maneuver packages of a minimum of 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders. Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies. Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units. Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product. Documents product shipment by recording units shipped. Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, making operator repairs. Operate standup or sit-down Forklift under general supervision. Manipulate or depress cane controls to regulate speed and direction of Forklift and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions. Report repairs for Forklift as needed. Inspect Forklift for safety issues daily. Determine if any parts are malfunctioning. Cleans, maintains, and lubricates equipment. Complete job tickets, service quality summaries, and all other necessary paperwork. Lift, position and place machinery, equipment or other large objects at construction sites and industrial facilities. Drive trucks to worksites and unload trucks. Place blocks and outriggers to prevent capsizing when lifting heavy loads. Move levers and pedals to move Forklift on chassis to raise and lower Forklift Forks to raise and lower load-line. Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy. Operate Forklift according to signals from helper. Start and stop Forklift engine. Able to work with Catalyst Work while wearing a full-face mask and Tykeim suit. Other duties as assigned. Applicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States. Certifications/Licenses: A Valid TWIC Card and Driver’s License.
