Dishwasher - Crooked Hammock Brewery

Crooked Hammock Brewery is excited to open in Raleigh this spring, and we're building an incredible team to help bring this new location to life! Our focus is on creating a welcoming, high-energy space where guests can gather, connect, and enjoy thoughtfully crafted food, beer, and hospitality that feels genuine and memorable. The Dishwasher at Crooked Hammock Brewery is responsible for washing & cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. This person will execute daily maintenance and deep cleaning of facilities, focused on keeping the dishroom & equipment clean and organized. Must Enjoy the Ride!

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Opening and midday maintenance of facilities including cleaning & stocking all restrooms, sweeping & mopping floors, and maintaining clean outdoor areas
• Complete opening and closing procedures
• Load, run and unload dish machine
• Set-up three bay sink with detergent, rinse, and sanitizer
• Stock all necessary cleaning products
• Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
• Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
• Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware in appropriate location
• Maintain all dish and food service equipment storage areas
• Keep dish washing area clean and organized
• Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen
• Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designated times
• Assist with trash removal from other kitchen and FOH areas
• Assist with food prep when needed
• Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
• Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies in all areas
• Clean food preparation and production areas as required
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor
• Clock in and out at scheduled time. Make Management aware of any deviation from schedule
• Live the brand & be a brand ambassador; make decisions in the best interest of the business at all times

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation to/from work
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours).
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to read and comprehend labels on chemicals
