About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Clinical Operations to provide strategic operational oversight and execution of complex global clinical programs, with a focus on ophthalmology and the broader portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that clinical trials are planned and executed with excellence, delivering high-quality, inspection-ready data on time and within budget. This role involves leading Clinical Operations teams, partnering with cross-functional development teams, and fostering a culture of operational excellence. The VP will also be involved in leadership and team management, cross-functional leadership, and vendor and financial oversight. Candidates for the Vice President, Clinical Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a scientific, business, or health-related discipline, with at least 15 years of clinical operations experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical development. A strong background in leading global Phase 1-3 clinical trials, particularly in the field of ophthalmology, is highly preferred. The role requires a proven track record in operational leadership, risk management, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of ICH-GCP, FDA, EMA, and global clinical trial regulations, as well as excellent leadership, coaching, and organizational development skills. Experience in vendor management, financial oversight, and a demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams are also essential.
