Assignment Overview Shift: Nights, 3x12 hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: May 18, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel experience and Level 1 trauma OR background. Details Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week High-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex, high-volume, and diverse surgical cases On-call responsibilities required as part of the OR rotation Weekend availability required — travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month Holiday coverage is required Block scheduling is not available for this position Requirements Active RN license in Georgia or a Compact state currently in hand Current BLS certification required Previous travel nursing experience required Level 1 trauma center OR experience required Experience in high-pressure, large-scale, high-volume trauma environments with diverse and severe cases required Burn unit experience preferred Strong OR skills with a high-rated skills checklist matching the OR specialty Additional Information This facility is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered Local candidates are accepted for this position Copies of active certifications must be provided for consideration References are not required for consideration Job ID #P-700326.
