Senior Mainframe/Cobol Developer

Job TitleBen E. Keith is seeking a versatile technology professional to support and enhance a mature COBOL/mainframe environment while helping bridge the organization toward future Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS) platforms.Required Skills & Experience• Experience supporting COBOL/mainframe applications in a production environment • Strong understanding of business processes and operational workflows • Experience supporting integrated application environments • Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or Transportation Management Systems (TMS) • Experience troubleshooting, enhancing, and maintaining existing applications • Ability to reverse engineer legacy systems and understand complex process flows • Experience with JCL and batch processing • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills • Adaptable team player who can support a variety of technical and business initiativesNice to Have Skills & Experience• SAP integration or support experience • Experience supporting warehouse, inventory, logistics, or distribution operations • Knowledge of VSAM datasets • Technical certifications • Experience participating in system migrations or platform transformationsThis individual will join a collaborative team supporting warehouse, inventory, delivery, and logistics operations across a highly integrated environment consisting of 35-40 connected applications.
