Customer Service Representative (CSR)

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join a growing manufacturing company in Ashtabula County, Ohio! In this role, you will serve as the primary liaison between the manufacturing facility and its valued customers, managing the entire order fulfillment process while ensuring customer needs are met on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process incoming orders, verify pricing and configurations, and enter accurate data into company systems and work orders
• Collaborate with production scheduling, inventory control, and shipping departments to ensure realistic delivery dates and on-time shipments
• Provide accurate product information, prepare price quotes, and proactively communicate order status updates or potential delays
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, shipping discrepancies, or quality issues in a timely and professional manner
• Manage new items from initial design and approval through production and full system setup, including handling all changes and communications throughout the process
• Develop strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts to facilitate repeat business and account growth
• Update customer profiles, maintain pricing structures, and process non-conforming refunds or credits when appropriate
• Answer incoming phone calls, use the intercom, and respond to on-demand inquiries from guests and employees throughout the day

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of customer service experience, ideally in a manufacturing, distribution, or fast-paced environment
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (Amtech/Encore preferred) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to work on-site in both an office and plant environment
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation:

• Salaried position: $50,000 - $58,000
