Job Summary:

The Research and Development Support scientists by producing and testing samples,

Maintain organization and cleanliness of lab, report findings in a clear and organized way. The ideal candidate will have the ability to learn and grow, share creative insight, and have a basic understanding of the food industry

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Laboratory Projects:
  Scale ingredients, Bake, Fry, Cook samples, Analytical sample review, Set up Sensory Tests, Replenish lab supplies, Participate in R&D Meetings
• Team Member:
  Be part of a fast-paced environment following timelines and supporting team members

Qualifications:

• New graduate with 6 mos to 1 year experience.
• Exhibits ability to learn quickly and work under direct supervision
• Some knowledge of ingredients used in bakery ingredient applications
• Some understanding of sensory science and bakery processing conditions.
• Some familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GRAS, FDA CFR, EU regulations).
• Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
