Auction Driver / Vehicle Operations Associate

Position Summary

The Auction Driver is responsible for safely moving, staging, parking, and driving vehicles throughout the auction lot during sale days and daily operations. This role supports vehicle flow, dealer services, and auction lane operations while maintaining safety and professionalism at all times.

 

Responsibilities may include:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through auction lanes during sale days safely and efficiently
• Move vehicles throughout the auction lot as directed by supervisors
• Stage and line up vehicles for sale preparation
• Park vehicles in designated inventory areas
• Assist with locating missing or misplaced vehicles on the lot
• Conduct basic vehicle support such as jump-starts or tire inflation when necessary
• Follow all auction safety guidelines and traffic flow procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Communicate professionally with team members, supervisors, dealers, and customers
• Perform vehicle inspections for visible damage prior to movement
• Assist with general lot operations and special projects as assigned

 

Physical Requirements

• Walking through out the auction lot
• Frequent entering and exiting vehicles
• Ability to work outdoors 

Work Environment

• Outdoor auction lot environment
• Fast-paced vehicle movement operations

Schedule

• Part-Time slots and Full-Time opportunities available
• Sale days typically Tuesday and Thursday depending on location
• Flexible schedules may be available

Preferred Experience

• Auction driving experience
• Automotive lot attendant experience
• Warehouse or logistics experience
• Defensive driving knowledge

Pay & Benefits

• Competitive hourly pay- $17.00 an hour 
• Opportunity for overtime during peak sale days
• Weekly pay options available through staffing partner
