Your journey to a fulfilling career starts here!Patient Care Tech/Unit Secretary at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth:As the Patient Care Technician / Unit Secretary, the individual will interface with visitors, patients, family, and physicians on phone and in person for Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Outpatient Center.· Performs clerical duties including distribution of messages.· Performs clinical duties, under the direction of an RN or LVN, including assisting patients to the restroom, removing iv catheters, etc.· Cleans rooms if needed.· Assists RN's as instructed.· Any other duties as instructed by supervisor.QualificationsEducation· High School Diploma, or equivalentLicensure/Certification:· Certified Nurse Assistant Certification, or equivalent· BLS RequiredRequired Experience· Minimum 1-year experience in a hospital setting preferred.· Previous experience Electronic Healthcare Record helpfulKnowledge, Skills and Abilities· Good communication and people skills· Excellent clinical skills appropriate for a medical assistant, nursing assistant or patient care tech· Ability to utilize Electronic Healthcare Record for patient documentation.What We Offer:· Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage· Life and AD&D coverage· Availability of short- and long-term disability· Flexible financial benefits including FSAs and HSAs· 401(k) and access to retirement planning· Paid holidays and vacationWho We Are:At USPI, we create relationships that create better care.
