Position Overview We are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist who can take a part from print to completion. This role requires someone who can set up, operate, and program at the machine in a fast-paced job shop environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts Program and edit programs at the machine (G-code or conversational) Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges Make adjustments to ensure parts meet tight tolerances Troubleshoot machining issues and improve efficiency Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications Required: CNC Lathe experience in a job shop environment Ability to set up, operate, and program at the machine Experience reading blueprints and working with tight tolerances Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling Preferred: Experience with Mazak lathes / Mazatrol programming Why Join Us? 1st shift schedule no nights or weekends Laid-back, comfortable work environment Small team where you're not just a number Variety of custom work (no boring production runs) Stable, long-term opportunity with a growing company
