About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their team as a trusted strategic partner. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organization, which includes a complex, multi-entity structure. This role demands a hands-on approach, with direct oversight of payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense management. The successful candidate will be expected to provide strategic financial insights, ensure financial sustainability, and maintain operational excellence. Key responsibilities for the CFO at the company include collaborating with the General Manager/COO to direct financial operations, supporting the leadership team with strong internal controls, and leading the annual budget process. The CFO will also be involved in capital expenditure planning, and management, and will serve as the primary financial contact for the leadership team, board, and external vendors. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive financial experience, possess strong leadership skills, and have a background in strategic problem-solving. While experience in the private club industry is beneficial, candidates from related industries with a strong hospitality background are encouraged to apply. The CFO will be expected to have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA, CPA, and/or CHAE certification being a plus. The role requires a candidate with excellent presentation and communication skills, proficiency in current technology and software programs, and experience in contract review, negotiation, and collaboration with outside counsel. The CFO will also be involved in staff development, legal affairs, and contract management, and must be adept at managing financial risks and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
